Space Information Infrastructure Capacity Building and Training Program (SIICap)

About SIICaP

The Space Information Infrastructure Capacity Building and Training Program or SIICaP is a project under PhilSA’s ISKUELA (Inclusive SSTA Know-how, Utilization, Exchange, and Localization Activities). SIICap aims to promote and enhance understanding of space information infrastructures and their applications through monthly events. These events include: webinars, hackathons, workshops, short courses, and resource person support.

The engagement activities will be designed to feature and make accessible the existing space technologies, services, and programs of the Space Information Infrastructure Bureau of PhilSA. Additionally, the activities are envisioned to promote awareness of SSTA among target audiences, build a community with the common goal of utilizing space technologies to improve lives and innovative solutions, and strengthen and sustain collaborations between PhilSA and its stakeholders.
