The Philippine Space Agency (PhilSA) invites everyone to Lakbay Kalawakan: An Introduction to Philippine Space Exploration webinar series of the Space Information Infrastructure Capacity Building and Training Program or SIICaP project. The first part of this exciting journey is happening on 27 May 2022 10:00 AM to 12:00 NN PhST.

Lakbay Kalawakan will  introduce space science and technology from the Filipino perspective and will highlight the Philippines’ foray into the Space Age. The missions and payloads of Philippine satellites will also be showcased in a talk.

SIICaP aims to promote and enhance understanding of space information infrastructures and their applications through monthly events, such as: webinars, hackathons, workshops, short courses, and resource person support.

It is a project of PhilSA ISKUELA, which stands for: Inclusive SSTA Know-how, Utilization, Exchange, and Localization Activities. ISKUELA envisions building an inclusive, sustainable, and capable local space science and technology community through knowledge transfer and capacity-building programs.
