The Philippine Space Agency (PhilSA) is proud to announce its selections for the country’s official entries to the 2022 Asian Try Zero-G (ATZG) Competition.

The ATZG Competition is launched by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) to encourage the youth in the Asia-Pacific region to come up with novel experiments to be performed on the Japanese Experimental Module “Kibo” of the International Space Station (ISS).

As a member of the Asian Beneficial Collaboration through Kibo Utilization (Kibo-ABC), PhilSA is the point of contact of the Philippines for the ATZG.

These official entries were sent to JAXA, which will choose among all submissions from the Asia-Pacific region. Those whose proposals are chosen will have a chance to work in person or remotely with JAXA scientists and engineers in planning for the conduct of their experiments in space.

#JoinTheMission, check out the experiment proposals below.

Note: the order in which the proposed experiments appear does not indicate the ranking of submitted proposals in each category.
