What’s your favorite food in space? How do you sleep in space? What does the Earth look like from the International Space Station? These are just some of the fun and interesting questions about space some intrepid Filipino kids asked Naoko Yamazaki, an astronaut formerly from the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA).

Naoko Yamazaki flew to the ISS in 2010 on the Space Shuttle Discovery. Since then, she has dedicated herself to promoting science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education among the youth, which is why she was so eager to answer these kids’ questions and more.
