Minimum Qualification Standards:
Education: Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job
Experience: 1 year of relevant experience
Training: 4 hours of relevant training
Eligibility: Career Service Professional / Second Level Eligibility

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Under the direction of the Division Chief (DC), ensures proper conduct of the
   PhilSA’s scholarship, fellowship, and other space education-related programs
2. Prepare the necessary documents needed for the conduct of the space education,
   science outreach, training programs, and other related projects and activities of the
   Agency;
3. Assist the Senior Science Research Specialist in the development of programs and
   activities relating to the integration and promotion of space education in the
   curricular and co-curricular activities in schools and other learning centers;
4. Develop learning modules and training materials;
5. Under direction, schedule, arrange, and organize meetings, workshops, seminars,
   and related activities in support of the conduct of various programs under the
   Division;
6. Ensure proper documentation of activities implemented under the Division, such as
   meetings, relevant events under the program, and other engagement activities;
   and
7. Perform other duties of a regular or special nature as may be assigned from time
   to time.

Applicants who have all or any of the following background are most welcome to
apply:

Educational Background:

• – A bachelor’s degree in Education with a specialization in STEM track, educational
  administration, curriculum studies, or other relevant fields, OR a bachelor’s degree
  in any science, engineering, communication, or related fields.

Experience Background:

• – At least 1 year of relevant experience;
• – Exposure in the conduct of science education programs, or in curriculum research
  and development;
• – Knowledge and exposure in space education;
• – Coordination with government agencies, private institutions, international
  organizations, or other stakeholders;
• – Proficiency in English and Filipino communication, both written and verbal.

Competencies

• – Knowledge and skills in the conduct of education programs, standards, and
  activities within the contexts of K-12, higher education, and co-curricular learning
  relevant to the STEM fields.
• – Capability to relate PhilSA activities with the core principles and concepts of
  education which altogether contributes to the PhilSA’s goals in advancing space
  science education in the country.
