Minimum Qualification Standards:

Education: Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job
Experience: 1 year of relevant experience
Training: 4 hours of relevant training
Eligibility: Career Service Professional / Second Level Eligibility

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • 1. Under general supervision, assist in the direction, supervision and programming of
    activities under the Division with focus on the spacecraft’s thermal system;
  • 2. Review the mission requirements and provide inputs to the design of the
    spacecraft’s thermal control system;
  • 3. Perform the thermal and radiation analysis, testing, and verification for the
    spacecraft’s modules and systems and support in recommending appropriate
    design implementations;
  • 4. Support in establishing thermal and radiation testing workflow for the verification of
    spacecraft thermal and radiation performance;
  • 5. Ensure the correctness of the technical specifications of goods and services for
    procurement and/or manufacturing requirements;
  • 6. Attend seminars, symposia and other structured gatherings related to advanced
    space S&T and other areas of concern related to development; and
  • 7. Perform other duties of a regular or special nature as may be assigned from time
    to time.

Applicants who have all or any of the following background are most welcome to
apply:

Educational background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Sciences such as in Aerospace Engineering,
    Mechanical Engineering, or other allied fields

Experience Background

  • – Experience in 3D modelling and 2D technical drawing using CAD softwares,
    preferably SolidWorks
  • – Experience in Thermal and Radiation Analysis softwares, preferably MSC, ANSYS,
    Thermal Desktop, FASTRAD and/or Systema Thermica

Training Background:
● Relevant training on Thermal and Radiation Analysis
