Diwata-1 satellite Engineer Harold Bryan Paler, the Operations Head of the Philippine Earth Data Resource and Observation Center (PEDRO Center), interviewed Engr. Gregorio Villar III of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) during a webinar entitled ‘Rizal as an Engineer: Exile in Dapitan’ organized by the Philippine Consulate General in New York City and the Knights of Rizal – New York Chapter last June 20, 2021.

The interview highlighted the exciting work behind the Mars 2020 Perseverance Rover mission, Engr. Villar’s experiences with NASA, and his advice for aspiring engineers who want to venture into space exploration.
