In celebration of The International Day of Women and Girls in Science, Philippine Space Agency (PhilSA) Deputy Director General for Space Science and Technology, Dr. Gay Jane P. Perez shares her journey and insights on what it takes to be a woman in the field of space science and technology. The message was presented during the Department of Education (DepEd) – International Cooperation Office’s (ICO) celebration.

The International Day of Women and Girls in Science is implemented by United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women or UN Women, in collaboration with institutions and civil society partners that aim to promote women and girls in science.
