Duties and Responsibilities:
- 1. Under general supervision, assist in the direction, supervision and programming of
activities under the Division with focus on high-speed digital electronics for
spacecraft onboard computing; - 2. Assume primary responsibility in the implementation of key outputs related to
high-speed digital electronics for spacecraft onboard computing systems; - 3. Perform the Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) and Fault
Detection, Isolation, and Recovery (FDIR); - 4. Develop the hardware modules for the onboard computing systems and oversee
the plans for its assembly, integration and testing up to manufacturing; - 5. Coordinate design, development, and approval of flight software;
- 6. Ensure the correctness of the technical specifications of goods and services for
procurement and/or manufacturing requirements; - 7. Represent the Bureau in meetings, negotiations, conferences, seminars and other
intersectoral or interagency cooperative efforts for matters that can be resolved at
his/her level; - 8. Evaluate performances of subordinates and provide guidance for their
development and motivation as well as apply disciplinary measures as necessary;
and - 9. Perform other duties of a regular or special nature as may be assigned from time to
time.

Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and Sciences such as in Aerospace Engineering,
Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other allied
fields.
Experience Background
- Experience in On-board Computing systems and/or Flight Software
Training Background:
- Spacecraft Systems Development.
