Minimum Qualification Standards:
Education: Master’s degree or Certificate in Leadership and Management from the CSC
Experience: 4 years of supervisory/ management experience
Training: 40 hours of supervisory/management training/learning development intervention

Duties and Responsibilities:
- 1. Serve as the Division Chief of the Space Business Development and Technology
Transfer Division; - 2. Be in charge of the technology transfer and business development thrusts of the
Agency; - 3. Assist the Director in promoting the development of a robust and vibrant local space
industry and economy; - 4. Manage the Technology Transfer Life Cycle in the Agency which covers: R&D ,
Invention, Technology Assessment, IP Protection, Marketing , Licensing, Delivery of
Products & Services, Income Generation and R&D Funding; - 5. Promote and facilitate productive collaboration to launch technologies, products,
services or startup ventures based upon the Agency’s intellectual properly, as well
as maximize synergies between the Agency and its Key Stakeholder to leverage
strengths of each and encourage technology commercialization; - 6. Manage the registration and protection of the Agency’s Intellectual Property;
- 7. Ignite the entrepreneurial culture and bring together the entrepreneurial ecosystem
across the Agency, other government agencies, academe and industry; - 8. Conceptualize programs and leadership initiatives connecting resources in the
Agency, other government agencies, academe, and industry; - 9. Help expand economic opportunity by facilitating the establishment of
growth-oriented businesses using the Agency technology; - 10.Connect with research and industry partners that can facilitate the establishment of
growth-oriented businesses using the Agency technology; - 11. Drive programs and policies that support innovation-based entrepreneurship in the
Agency; - 12.Determine the Agency’s current and future needs, industry trends, and how it can
differentiate and position itself in the space industry ecosystem; and - 13.Perform other duties of a regular or special nature as may be assigned from time to
time.
