Education: Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job
Experience: 2 years of relevant experience
Training: 8 hours of relevant training

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct research in the development of space education, science outreach, training
programs, and other related projects and activities of the Agency; - Coordinate and engage with the relevant stakeholders in the conduct and
implementation of space education-related activities; - Under direction of the Division Chief (DC), take the lead in the conduct of curriculum
review for the integration and promotion of space science and technology
applications (SSTA) topics in K-12 and higher education curriculum; - Develop learning modules and training materials;
- Coordinate with relevant PhilSA Divisions and external stakeholders in the
establishment of MOA/MOUs with various stakeholders in support of the Division’s
programs and activities; - Coordinate with international space education centers, organizations or institutions
for benchmarking and networking activities - Facilitate consultations and meetings among relevant divisions in PhilSA,
collaborators, and other external stakeholders; and - Perform other duties of a regular or special nature as may be assigned from time to
time.
Applicants who have relevant background/experience will be preferred.
Educational Background:
- – A bachelor’s degree in Education with specialization in STEM track, educational
administration, curriculum studies, or other relevant fields.
Experience and training background:
- – At least 2 years of relevant experience;
- – Exposure in the conduct of science education programs, or in curriculum research
and development; - – Knowledge and exposure in space education;
- – Coordination with government agencies, private institutions, international
organizations, or other stakeholders; - – Proficiency in English and Filipino communication, both written and verbal.
Competencies:
- – Knowledge and skills in the conduct of education programs, standards, and
activities within the contexts of K-12, higher education, and co-curricular learning
relevant to the STEM fields. - – Capability to relate PhilSA activities with the core principles and concepts of
education which altogether contributes to the PhilSA’s goals in advancing space
science education in the country.
