Minimum Qualification Standards:
Education: Master’s Degree or Certificate in Leadership and Management from the CSC
Experience: 4 years of supervisory/ management experience
Training: 40 hours of supervisory/management training/learning development intervention
Eligibility: Career Service Professional / Second Level Eligibility

Duties and Responsibilities:

1) Serve as the Division Chief (DC) of the Space International Cooperation Division;
2) Guide and lead the team in the delivery of its functions;
3) Lead all major activities of the division;
4) Review and ensure quality outputs of all reporting units prior to the Director’s review and approval;
5) Assist the Director General (DG) in cooperating with space-related agencies of other countries in the peaceful use and development of space;
6) Spearhead the coordination of entering into contracts, memoranda of understanding/ agreement or other arrangements in behalf of the State, in consultation with the
Department of Foreign Affairs and/or other concerned agencies; and with the Legal Services of The Agency;
7) Assist the DG and other Senior Officials in establishing and maintaining linkages with other national space agencies and organizations;
8) Assist the DG and other Senior Officials in representing the Philippines in the United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Use of Outer Space and other similar space-related forums, assemblies and organizations;

9) Review all related policies, plans and programs that will affect our international space agenda;
10)Assist in the implementation of international projects;
11)Serve as the international liaison and coordination officer of the Agency; and
12)Perform other duties of a regular or special nature as may be assigned from time to time.
