Shoreline Change Analysis in New Washington, Aklan using Digital Shoreline Analysis System (DSAS)

This study examines erosion and accretion patterns from 1985 to 2022. Using satellite imagery and GIS techniques, significant erosion was found, especially near Batan Bay, with rates up to 1.46 meters per year. This emphasizes the need for effective coastal management to protect coastal communities.
