The Philippine Space Agency (PhilSA) invites Filipino students, professionals, entrepreneurs, and companies of all sizes – startups, MSMEs, and established – who do data analytics or AI to join the Space Business Innovation Camp (SBIC) 2026. It’s a structured mentoring program that helps participants understand problem-solution fit based on market needs, validate use cases, and strengthen the foundations needed to pursue ideas into viable products, services, and business opportunities using space data.
Whether you are exploring a new idea, strengthening an existing product or service, conducting research, or looking for new ways to apply data, SBIC 2026 will guide you through key stages of venture development.

GPS and Earth observation satellite data are widely available and often free to use, even for commercial applications. SBIC leverages this accessibility to help participants integrate satellite data into their products, services, and business strategies, creating ventures that drive innovation and impact.
Through SBIC, participants will:
- Receive expert guidance in early venture development, from problem identification to solution design;
- Learn how integrating satellite data with non-space datasets can unlock deeper insights, strengthen decision-making, and address any business needs; and
- Build valuable connections with potential industry partners, technology business incubators, and organizations that provide startup support and funding/financing opportunities to support technology and business development.
Our goal is simple: To help you grow your ideas with satellite data, connect with the right market, and access opportunities for support and funding/financing. The mentoring program will feature:
- Lectures by subject matter experts
- Consultation hours with the mentors
- Expert-led deep-dive sessions for more intensive and engaging discussions
- Pitching event for select teams who are business ready and with potential for external funding
Who can join?
SBIC 2026 is free and open to individuals or a team of up to five (5) members, who do data analytics or AI.

- Mentoring Sessions: 09 September–28 October 2026, every Wednesday, 5:00 PM–7:00 PM, online via MS Teams

Requirements
- Must be a Filipino citizen by birth and currently residing in the Philippines
- Current school ID, company ID, or any government-issued ID
- For team applications: name, email address, and position in the company of each team member
- Strong commitment and active participation in the program
