The Philippine Space Agency (PhilSA) calls on organizations and institutions to be a part of Eyes on the COSMOS: A National Telescope Viewing Celebration to bring the wonders of the universe closer to Filipinos.  

As part of Philippine Space Week, we encourage you to partner with us by hosting a free public telescope viewing activity on 13 August 2025 (Wednesday), from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.  

COSMOS or the Community Observation of Stars, Moon, and Outer Space is a nationwide, simultaneous telescope viewing event. 

You can organize your own viewing session in schools, community areas, or other public spaces of your choice, making the experience of stargazing accessible and inspiring for all.  

While space may seem distant, there’s still so much to discover, appreciate, and experience right from here on Earth.
