The Philippine Space Agency (PhilSA) is proud to announce the official Philippine entries to the Asian Try Zero-G (ATZG) 2025 Competition.

The ATZG Competition is hosted by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) to encourage the youth in the Asia-Pacific region to develop novel experiments to be performed on the Japanese Experimental Module “Kibo” of the International Space Station (ISS).

As a member of the Asian Beneficial Collaboration through Kibo Utilization (Kibo-ABC), PhilSA organized the local call for proposals for this year’s ATZG Philippines. Eighty-nine (89) experiment proposals were received nationwide from 15 November 2024 to 17 January 2025, and three (3) proposals were selected as the country’s official entries.

These official Philippine entries were sent to JAXA, who will evaluate and select the finalists among all submissions received from the Asia-Pacific region. Teams with selected proposals will have the opportunity to work in person or remotely with JAXA scientists and engineers in planning the conduct of their experiments in space.
