Minimum Qualification Standards:

Education: Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job
Experience: 2 years of relevant experience
Training: 8 hours of relevant training
Eligibility: Career Service Professional / Second Level Eligibility

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as part of a pool of project managers to be assigned and deployed to internal technical projects over the duration of the project life cycle;
  • Draft project plans with technical operations units for Agency-implemented projects;
    Facilitate project design and planning workshops, as needed;
  • Review project proposals and monitor all projects implemented by affiliate and collaborating partners of the Agency;
    Assess, initiate, and facilitate opportunities and follow-through actions for acquisition of externally-funded grants and other assistance, both local and overseas, for the PhilSA’s operations;
  • Contribute to the development of PhilSA’s grants administration, funds management, project management principles and practices;
  • Contribute to the development of PhilSA’s Grants-in-Aid program framework, guidelines, processes, tools, and models;
  • Assist in the preparation of PhilSA’s plans with relevant background research and literature review;
  • Contribute to the planning and development of PhilSA’s R&D and other technical activities through pertinent and timely impact assessment studies and analyses; and
  • Perform other duties of a regular or special nature as may be assigned from time to time.
  • Applicants who have all or any of the following background are preferred:

    Educational Background:

    Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Public Management, Economics or other similar courses
